Compounds Removed by Captiv8

The link to the left shows a page that provides an indication of the range of chemicals that can be adsorbed by Captiv8 activated carbon cloth.

A key feature of the properties of Captiv8 activated carbon cloth is the very high efficiency of contaminant removal; in other words the cloth will operate at 100% efficiency until the full capacity is reached. An indication of the capacity of the Captiv8 activated cloth is provided in the table by the capacity index numbers 1 -3 as follows:

  1. The Captiv8 activated carbon cloth has some capacity for these compounds and, because of the high efficiency of removal, is of good service under the particular conditions of operations.
  2. The Captiv8 activated carbon cloth has good capacity for these compounds, and is able to adsorb 10% to 20% of its own weight.
  3. The Captiv8 activated carbon cloth has a high capacity for these compounds, and is able to adsorb 20% to 50% of its own weight.

The performance of the Captiv8 activated carbon cloth is dependant to some degree on the contaminants' concentration, temperature and flow dynamics.
